Spring/Summer Basketball

We will create three Manheim Central girls' teams to compete in a Spooky Nook summer basketball league.  We will only be creating 3 teams, therefore, girls must attend a one day evaluation to determine which girls will be on the teams.  The evaluation is Monday, March 9th from 5:00-7:00 at Doe Run on Gramby (DRoG).

Details:

• 4th and 5th grade girls
• 3 teams only - TWO 5th grade teams & ONE 4th grade team
• Girls will be placed on a summer league team and assigned a coach
• Coaches will coordinate practices with parents
• 1 practice a week that fits the players' schedules
• Practices begin in April
• Summer league begins at Spooky Nook late May/early June
• 8-10 games
• $30/players - Money due in May/June
• Girls who play in the spring/summer have more success in the fall and winter
• Girls in the travel program must also attend the evaluation

Cancelled Games on Jan. 24

Cancelled games on January 24th will not be made up.  There are two regular season games left in the season.  They will be played on January 31st and February 7th. 

All teams make playoffs.  Playoff games will begin February 14th.

Clock Workers & Score Keepers NEEDED

We need clock workers and score keepers to help keep the clock and score of the intramural league games.  Please offer your help to the Intramural League Coordinator (Kristen Robeson or Maddy Novak) if you are available during your child's basketball game.  They will be looking for people to help.
