Tryouts for travel league will be held that Monday and Tuesday for all players interested in trying out for the 5th Grade team and the 6th Grade team.  For more info on travel league, click on the Travel TAB.

Open gyms at new Doe Run Monday night!

The hours of the gym have been changed (PREVIOUS POST IS NOW CHANGED) to make it easier for parents to get there.....and to match the flyers that were handed out at the last signup. Also, one was cancelled due to Farm Show Parade night.  If you are not signed up yet, show up anyways and we will get you signed up!

Enter thru the main entrance of the new school and proceed to the gym.....See You there!

Bring your daughter to an open gym to get her used to her new surroundings at Doe Run.  Open gyms are for all skill levels and are an opportunity to get a jump start on the season!

Who: All MC girls grades 3-6

 

 

 

Come to either registration date for both intramural and travel signups. More info will be given at that time.

 

Elementary Basketball FAQ's

 

Who: All girls that live within District borders grades 3-6
What:  Elementary girls basketball program
When: 1 practice per week, games on Saturday mornings
Where: Doe Run Gramby St gym
Why: Intro to a lifetime of basketball!
How: Signups on 9/24 and 10/8 from 10am - noon at Burgard Café
Cost:  Free!

We are creating a summer league team for girls at an evaluation day on Monday March 7th. The evaluation will be held from 645-800 at the Gramby gym.

Summer league specifics:

• Helps girls improve playing skills
• Will help girls prepare for travel team tryouts this fall
• Team will play against other schools in age group of girls entering 5th grade in fall
• Girls entering 4th grade this fall may participate
• Practices will begin in April/May
• Practices will be held Sunday nights from 5-6pm at Middle School outdoor courts
• Games will be held Monday nights during June/July
• At least 7 game nights
• All games held at Brandon Park in Lancaster
• Team price of $225 divided amongst players
• Team shirts will probably cost less than $10
